AREA DRESSAGE

Sunday 7th May at the Trinity Park (Suffolk SG). Despite the weather not being great everyone seemed to have a pleasant day. We had two Novice teams entered for the event. FVRC Green consisted of Jackie Lambert, Krystina Fish, Julia Smith and Emma Wales. FVRC Yellow was Hannah Galpin, Laura Smith, Caroline Foster and Bonny Winton. Two Junior rides also represented the club and they were Louise Prowse and Kathryn Chaplin.

All the riders did some pleasing tests despite some of the horses being young and some having not seen a dressage arena for a while! The Novice Green team did particularly well winning overall. However, since the had opted not to enter as a qualifier they were not able to go through to the Championships at Lincoln. Hopefully they will win again next year and have a chance to go to the Championships!

Well done to all involved and a big thank you for representing the club. Maybe next year we will have a few more brave riders and have the chance to enter an Open team.
