Festival of The Hunter Championships: Grange Farm, Peterborough 14th May 2006

 

Krystina Fish represented FVRC at the recent Festival of The Hunter Championships. This is her account of her day!

The course was well built with nice fences but very twisty with lots of up hill and down dale paths, and four water obstacles! approximately 100 competitors in the Senior Novice class and we went clear so I was very pleased :-) We were 5 seconds under the optimum time which put us in to 14th place as an individual, a bit frustrating but I have gained a lot more confidence to go out and jump some new courses! I gained a nice picture (see below) and a commemorative rosette for my efforts which was an appreciated touch. 

 

I had a really good day, thank you Finn Valley for giving me the opportunity to compete for you.

I am already gaining a lot of experience and enjoyment from this competition season! Come on Finn Valley!
