Leading Senior Rider 2006

Thank you very much for this award, it means a great deal to me and therefore I just wanted to say the following!

I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to Finn Valley for giving me the opportunity to compete for our Riding Club and the encouragement given by Sue List, Nicky Steward and everyone who has also been involved in each Team, at each event.

I really enjoy my horses ‘Lazulie’ and ‘Leudo’, and I have always tried very hard to achieve my goals but I have not been quite good enough to gain a high placing for my efforts at competitions. I have been driven by the variety of disciplines on offer through our Riding Club and through trying my best and constantly gathering information (Thank you Emma, Sarah M and Sarah G!) my riding and in turn my horses have come on in leaps and bounds this year! I am now very pleased to have established personal improvements this year and I am very pleased to tell everyone that ‘Lazulie’ and I have completed this season’s cross-country season winning a one-day event and two hunter trials! So as you can imagine being awarded this trophy has topped my personal achievement off perfectly! So thank you!

I am now pleased to be joining the Finn Valley RC Committee and hope that I can give back as much encouragement and support to other members as I have been given.
