Area Horse Trials 2016

Well done to all Finn Valley riders some great results. First up were the 80. With the senior team winning. Jessica Mace coming 2nd, Shirley Stagg 3rd and Julia Hicks and myself finishing 5th in each arena. Some good rounds also by Jenny James, Kath Mccabe and Harriet Aitchison. Anne Corke and Tracy Pattinson both as non qualifiers and both going clear xc with Anne jumping clear SJ too.

Next were the junior 80. Sadly the team didn't get placed but a great double clear from Tabby Wade, Jas Slater just having a pole in the SJ. Amelia Slater and Charna Barrable jumping clear SJ but the XC didn't quiet go to plan. Jasmine Victoria Hawkins went as an individual and just had one stop XC on her new young pony. The 90 were next with the senior team of Ruth Everard, April Brown, Amy Victoria Curl and Joee Mace finishing 2nd to Carelton! Some great dressage scores but just a few penalties picked up on the XC.

The junior team were down to three and came 2nd to HDRC. Shannon Curtis jumping a double clear and Imogen Alice Hughes and Dulcie Wade just picking up XC penalties. The senior 100 just missed out again to Carleton coming 2nd. Isabella Stagg finishing 4th, Emma L Sayer just having a pole SJ and Jenny James and Natalie produced great dressage tests but both sadly having problems on the XC.

The Junior 100 had a great day with Jas Slater winning and Milly Butters 3rd. Last up were the 100+ with Isabella Stagg winning and April Brown 4th.
