Hickstead Team SJ

It was an early start to be on the road for 3am for the BRC team jumping championship at the Royal International Horse show. Finn Valley had 5 teams, but unfortunately one team had to withdraw. One member of the team had to jump 85cm, one 95cm and the final member 105cm.

We arrived at 6.30am and after giving my horse, Nat, a quick spruce over we headed down to find the arena, if I hadn’t of found Shirley Stagg I think I would have got completely lost!! I warmed up and Nat felt good! Shirley Stagg finished her round and I was called to go in! I was so nervous, understatement of the year!!! Nat jumped the most fantastic clear for me in a decent time! It has got to be up there in my top experiences!

It was a fantastic day had by all, Finn Valley team 2 came 12th, team 4 came 24th, team 1 came 30th and team 3 came 80th! Out of 120 Teams Finn valley represented themselves well as always!!
