National Championships 2015
The club had another successful National Championships at Lincoln on the 6th and 7th Spetember. On Saturday it was the turn of the Senior Riders. With the Senior style team coming 7th and the Senior Open Area 14 team 2nd. Isabella Stagg won both her Dressage arenas! Rosie had a great day coming home with a handful of rosettes finishing 3rd in the Style and 4th in the Open SJ as an individual. Sunday was the turn of Junior riders with an Intermediate SJ Team, Novice Dressage Team and an Individual Style rider competing in their first ever Championships. Charlotte Long performed an exceptional test to come 2nd in her arena 79.58% (finishing 3rd overall!), with Lauren Hassan (66.75%), Shannon Curtis (63%) and Megan Hammond (60.4%). The Intermediate SJ team of Dulcie Wade, Megan Hammond, Charlotte Johnson and Charna Barrable finished a creditable 10th. Tabby Wade produced a good clear round in the style jumping but just missed out on a placing. Another successful weekend for the club!

Going to nationals was a fantastic experience! I feel extremely lucky to have been a part of the team and be accompanied by so many friends and supporters! The dressage had a great atmosphere, I was first in the team, Shannon was next, then Megan and finally Charlotte. After we had all finished we stopped to have a team photo! Charlotte did extremely well, finishing second in her arena and third nationally! The whole weekend was a surreal experience and I only hope I will get the same opportunity again!
